Merrimack Hometown Heroes Banner

Honor a Merrimack service member by purchasing a Hometown Heroes banner.

Banners will be displayed in Town as part of America's 250th anniversary, celebrating our shared history and the people who have protected it.

Each banner features your hero’s name, photo, branch of service, and years served 🇺🇸. Submit this form to request a banner for your hero. You’ll provide your honoree’s information and your contact details so we can review your order, confirm the design, and guide you through the next steps for the Merrimack Hometown Heroes Banner Program. Each Hometown Hero Banner is $250.00. Final payment will be collected after your banner details are confirmed and the proof is approved.

Hometown Hero Banners will be displayed in the areas by the Merrimack Police Station along Baboosic Lake Road and between Tractor Supply Plaza to the former RiteAid Plaza along DW Hwy. Banners will be proudly displayed annually between July 1st until Labor Day (from 2026-2030) and will be stored by the Parks & Recreation Department.

If you have any questions regarding the Merrimack Hometown Heroes Banner program, please email: info@merrimackusa250.org

Jail & Bail Fundraiser

In honor of America's 250th Anniversary Celebration, a respected resident has been "arrested" - not for any wrongdoing, of course - but for outstanding reputation as a valued and respected member of our community! As one of Merrimack's finest individuals, the  individual has been selected to participate in our special 250th Independence Day Anniversary Jail & Bail Fundraiser.

Their charge is simple: being someone their friends, neighbors and colleagues would happily support for a great cause. Here's how it works:

  • They have been playfully "arrested" and "booked" during our celebration event on May 8th or May 9th.
  • Bail has been set at $250 in honor of our country's 250 anniversary.
  • To secure their release, they must raise bail by reaching out to friends, family, colleagues, neighbors via calls, texts or emails.
  • They may not post their own bail - community support is required.

All funds raised go directly towards supporting Merrimack as we celebrate America’s 250th Independence Day festivities, ensuring this historic milestone is celebrated in a way that reflects the pride, spirit and strength of our Town.

Participation is meant to be fun, lighthearted, and community focused - a wonderful way to connect with others while supporting a once-in-a-generation celebration.

Follow our Facebook page on May 8th and 9th to see who has been "arrested" and real-time links to "bail" them out!
